The following guide will help you factory reset your Cisco IP 7841 Phone. A factory reset may be recommended by your technical support agent as part of the troubleshooting process. If you have problems with this method, you may also factory reset the phone using the keypad.
- Click on the Applications button on the phone.
- Go to "Admin Settings" by pressing the number 5
or using the Navigation buttons
- The password is 112233. (It may also be 24726 (cisco)) To enter the password, you will have to follow the following steps:
- Hit the 1 key 4 times
- Hit the 1 key 4 times
- Hit the 2 key 4 times
- Hit the 2 key 4 times
- Hit the 3 key 4 times
- Hit the 3 key 4 times
- Press the "Sign In" softkey
- Go to "Reset Settings" by pressing the number 4
- Select "All" by pressing the number 1
- Push the "Reset" softkey to confirm factory-installed defaults.
- The device should Delete and Reboot.
