Jabber can be used to make and receive phone calls directly from the app. It can also be used to forward your calls if necessary. This guide assumes that you have already successfully been able to login Jabber on your phone/Windows. If you have not logged into Jabber, please review the following directions to login to your Jabber App on your device.
Forwarding Calls in Android/iOS
- Open the Cisco Jabber App.
- Access the Settings Menu by pressing on the picture/initials at the top.
- Press on the "Call forwarding" option.
- Press on "New number". In the pop-up, type in the number you would like the call to Forward and press Save.
- For Internal Foward: 4 digit extension. Example: 3000
- For Outside Local Foward: 7 + Number. Example: 75643000
- For Outside Long Distance Foward: 7 + 1 + Area Code + Number. Example: 717725643000

Forwarding Calls in Windows
- Open Jabber and click on the "Call Settings" Icon on the bottom of the Jabber App
- Click the drop down menu under Forward Calls
- Select one the following options
- None: Don't Forward Calls
- Voicemail: Forward Calls directly to Voicemail
- New Number: Set a number that all calls are forwarded to.
- For Internal Foward: 4 digit extension. Example: 3000
- For Outside Local Foward: 7 + Number. Example: 75643000
- For Outside Long Distance Foward: 7 + 1 + Area Code + Number. Example: 717725643000
