- AT SCHOOL: Make sure the student device is not connected to guestwireless
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting to the sdircN network
- If the sdircN network does not show, contact your Digital Integration Specialist or Educational Technologist.
- At HOME: Click the globe and confirm that the device shows that it is connected to a Wi-Fi access point, if not, connect to the home Wi-Fi as you would with a phone.
- ANY LOCATION:
- If you only see "Airplane Mode” and it is greyed out, restart the device and wait for up to 1 minute for the Wi-Fi to engage.
- If this does not work, a “Hard Restart” may need to be performed.
- The proper way to “Hard Restart” a device is to hold onto the power button located on the right side of the machine on Lenovo's, and the Left side for HPs for 20 seconds. While holding the power button, make sure you see fully shut-down (Screen goes black and any LED lights on the device that were on shut off).
- Sometimes trying to connect and disconnect from the Wi-Fi multiple times will help or turning Airplane Mode on and off a few times
- Clicking the globe or Wi-Fi symbol and seeing the Wi-Fi devices means it is now working.
