Issue:
I need to schedule a Conference in either the IT Conference Room or the SSC Large Conference Room.
Resolution:
This guide will will show you how to schedule an appointment for either Conference Room.
- In Outlook, go to your Calendar.
- Select "New Appointment".
- Fill out the Title as well as the Start and End times.
- Click on Location
- Select which Location you wish to have your conference at.
- Verify all information is correct. Add Required and Optional emails that are needed.
- You will notice a Teams Meeting generate for the meeting. To cancel, click on "Meeting > Don't Host Online".
- Verify all information is correct and send the invites.
To add a Calendar to view the availability please do the following:
- In Outlook, go to your Calendar.
- Click (1) Add Calendar (2) From List...
- Click (1) the conference room you would like (we used SSC in this example). (2) Rooms (3) OK
- The calendar should appear in your shared calendars on the left of Outlook as well as in your calendar view:
